A little bit about me...
Bill Hightower is a lifelong Excelsior Springs resident and a highly respected leader in the local real estate community. He began his real estate career in 1982 and has spent more than four decades helping buyers and sellers with integrity, market expertise, and a deep understanding of the community he has always called home.
As the founding broker of what is now the Hightower Heritage Real Estate Team, Bill proudly co-leads the team alongside his daughter, Melissa Bartlett. Together, they guide a team of 10 agents serving Excelsior Springs, the surrounding Northland Kansas City area, and communities throughout Missouri and Kansas. After more than 25 successful years with ReeceNichols Realtors, Bill helped lead the team’s transition in 2025 to The Jason Mitchell Group—ensuring continued growth while preserving the trusted, hometown service clients value.
In 2025, Bill proudly welcomed his granddaughter Avery into the business, marking the third generation of the Hightower family to serve Excelsior Springs through real estate. This milestone reflects decades of mentorship, family values, and long-standing relationships built on trust.
Bill’s commitment to Excelsior Springs extends far beyond real estate. Over the years, he has been heavily involved in the community through leadership roles with the Chamber of Commerce, service on the Excelsior Springs City Council, and involvement with the local hospital board—always focused on strengthening the community he loves.
Outside of work, Bill is a devoted family man. He is the proud father of three, grandfather of seven, and now a great-grandfather with the arrival of his great-granddaughter, Brinley. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and trap shooting, reflecting his appreciation for the outdoors and rural Missouri lifestyle.
